Open Pop-Up Store at Globus Zurich | April 4 – July 31, 2022
Following the motto “Timeless Values”, the pop-up store designed by Enea showcases selected objects, furniture as well as various bonsais that reflect Enea’s “Outside In” philosophy of bringing the color and shape language of nature into the living space. A range of classic watches from Bucherer’s Certified Pre-Owned collection completes the exclusive offer.
Timeless Values – Collaboration and shared values
Successful collaborations are created through shared values. In the case of Enea and Bucherer Certified Pre-Owned, it is the enduring and thus timeless values, the “Timeless Values”, that give the joint pop-up store its name and content. Through this coinciding vision, Enea and Bucherer want to merge the past with the present. Embedded in impressions of an urban garden landscape of the future, visitors to the pop-up space in Zurich will find high-quality designer furniture and a selection of curated vintage collectibles by Enea, as well as unique Bucherer Certified Pre-Owned timepieces. Enea has succeeded in creating a spatial platform, a green design oasis where watch, design and garden lovers can linger and exchange ideas. Since aesthetics and content are absolutely essential for both partners, experts from both companies are on site every day to provide information about the history and origin of the individual pieces and to advise on purchases.
Timeless design and curated vintage pieces.
The “genius loci,” the spirit of place, defines all of Enea’s work. Through this design approach, nature and architecture, exteriors and interiors, are brought into perfect balance. Enea relies on those natural materials and elements such as wood and stone that define a consistently high quality of craftsmanship and a timeless language of form. Vividness is provided by different surface textures and the play of light and shadow. A finely selected range of furniture and high-quality design objects create timeless and elegant living spaces. In the pop-up store, large display windows create a link between indoors and outdoors. Thus the circle closes and “Outside In” shows itself as a lived and tangible reality.
Each object in the store has its origin and history, which goes hand in hand with Enea’s philosophy. Among others, furniture by the architect and industrial designer Hannes Peer is presented, such as his sofa MUIR or the coffee table BUTTERFLY. Among the perfectly staged unique furniture pieces are two marble side tables EROS by Angelo Mangiarotti, the MAINKAI lamps by designer Sebastian Herkner.
Also found are curated collectibles such as two Japanese Kaku-Adon lanterns circa 1800 made of wood and rice paper, and Italian table lamps from the 1950s to the 1990s. Also available for purchase are original vintage armchairs from the 1950s by Swiss architect and cousin of Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret. Highlights that fit perfectly into Enea’s concept are early 20th century Mauritanian palm wood and leather rugs that reproduce rock paintings and bear the colors of the Sahara.
