Pair of Bidone Wall Lamps | Italy, 1958

Luigi Caccia Dominioni was a Milanese architect who is considered one of the leading pioneers in the field of industrial design. After graduating from the prestigious Milan Polytechnic, he made a name for himself in the design world by collaborating with Pier and Giacomo Castiglioni and developing a series of innovative radios. In 1947, together with Ignazio Gardella, he founded the company Azucena. The LP 10 Bidone wall lamp is a signature piece from their collection.

The Bidone lamp is designed to be adjustable over several heights. If desired, it can also be mounted on the wall the other way around. Made of brass and frosted glass, the design is elegant and sleek, yet functional. It is very versatile and can be used as a bedside lamp, in hallways or on either side of a sofa.
